Tibet Pavilion popular in trial run

The Tibet Pavilion attracts some 70,000 tourists during the first seven days of trial run with its unique Tibetan culture.

The Tibet Pavilion, which promotes "Heavenly Tibet", is full of tourists, according to Huang Yongqing of the leading group of Tibet Pavilion.

On the first hall, tourists are interested in landscapes along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway displayed on the simulated window, while the promotional film "Heavenly Tibet" shown 420 times has also led to crowd congestion.

Visitors were keen on the featured Tibetan architectures and household appliance, taking pictures all the time.

In the pavilion, the most eye-catching program is the Tibetan performance, which consists of Tibetan drama and sing and dance.

Meng Yang, deputy secretary of the government of Tibet said, Tibetan people joined in the expo with whole-hearted passion in the hope of showing a flourishing new Tibet and opening a gate for tourists from home and abroad to get acquainted with the truth of Tibet.
