Butter sculpture show held in Labrang Monastery

Photo from Xinhua shows monks in Labrang Monastery, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, west of China's Gansu Province are enjoying the butter sculpture on Feb. 28.

On Feb. 28, a butter sculpture show was held in Labrang Monastery, a famous Tibetan Buddhism Monastery, demonstrating sculptures made by monks from six colleges of the monastery. Butter sculpture is a traditional activity in Labrang Monastery on Jan. 15 according to Tibetan calendar.
