Hey all, I just got back from a fantastic trip to Amdo for Losar. It was cold, but not as cold as I expected. Amdo is absolutely gorgeous! Most of Amdo is located in the Chinese province of Qinghai, and it's cheaper to travel there than Lhasa. It's also one of the best places to see authentic Tibetan culture.
