Nepal - Tibet Tour Package

While you have decided to travel to this corner of Asia, best would be to see both Nepal and Tibet. Even though overland tour, trek and cycling could be planned for over 3 weeks, a week is enough for sampler tour. You will be in capital of both Nepal and Tibet, which are melting pot of several culture scattered in the corners.

Day 01 : Arrive kathmandu | Transfer to Hotel | Evening familiarization walk to the dinner place
Day 02 : Kathmandu Tour | Drive to Nagarkot
Kathmandu has seven monuments listed under UNESCO cultural site. Among them, two are Buddhist Stupas (Shyambhunath, Boudhanath) ; two are pagoda style temples more than 1,500 years old and three are medieval palace architectures. we will visit one Buddhist Stupa, one palace square and one hundu temple. Drive 35 km to the hill station of Nagarkot at 2,100m. This will also be an acclimitazation trip. Sunset

Day 03 : Sunrise view from Nagakot over the Himalayas. One can do short eays hiking to see the countryside of Nepal. Bhaktapur tour and then drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 04 : Breakfast | Drive to the airport and fly to Lhasa. A flight to Lhasa is one of the spectacular flight in the world as it flyes along the Himalaya and finally cross it to land in Gongar Airport at the altitude of 3,500m. The flight will take one hour. Then we will be picked up and driven to Lhasa, which is 60 km away. Because of time difference (2 hrs 15 mints ahead) it will be around 3:0 PM by the time we arrive Lhasa. Rest for acclimitization.

Day 05 : Lhasa Tour (Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang temple and Bharkor market)
Day 06 : Visit Sera Monastery, Drepuk Monastery and Norbulinka Palace (Dalai Lama's summer palace)
Day 07 : Drive to the airport and fly back to Kathmandu in the morning. Visit more places of kathmandu or Shopping.
Day 08 : Final departure
